Sajasa in the Community

December 26, 2004 Tsunami Disaster. The Sajasa team was “On It” when the devastating news about this tragedy hit the world. Within weeks of the terrible aftermath of the Tsunami in Southeast Asia, Sajasa and its employees donated over $70,000.00 to aid victims of this event. The funds went primarily to “Save the Children” and N.W. Medical Teams.

Supporting Northwest Charities. Closer to home, Sajasa has always been committed to supporting the work of local charities that serve the needs of the communities in which we live and work. During 2004, we were pleased to be able to provide some $200,000 in cash and in-kind contributions to the Northwest charitable foundations listed below. This reflects our historical donation levels of approximately 1% of sales annually.

"Topping Out" Party Celebrates Success of Vision House Children’s Village. On October 6, 2004 Vision House Children’s Village recognized the site preparation companies involved in its construction. Children’s Village, in addition to resident housing for homeless single mothers and their children, will include a childcare and early childhood education center that will accommodate up to 55 children.

The "topping out" ceremony featured Sajasa Construction, Inc., which coordinated all site preparation, and Conner Homes, the building structure coordinating captain. Both companies are members of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties (MBA), which is sponsoring the project. The total value of donated services and materials is in excess of $800,000.00.
